I personally think that New Year’s Eve is the very anticlimactic. I know some people enjoy it and choose to celebrate by standing around in a freezing cold square for, like, 6-12 hours without a bathroom break. But that’s not really for me on really any night of the year. My biggest problem with New Years is that it usually falls on a weekday, which means my body wants to go to bed around 10:30 at night. If for some reason I do want to stay awake, caffeine is required. Enter Hot Pepsi!
Ingredients
- Pepsi (sorry Coca-Cola, but Bart was pretty clear on this)
Directions
Warm Pepsi in a saucepan over a low heat for 3-5 minutes. Consume Hot Pepsi immediately.
The problem with heating a carbonated beverage is that during said heating process you will lose all the carbonation. Basically Hot Pepsi tastes like flat Pepsi, that has also been accidentally stored behind a radiator. It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a coffee replacement. If you’re looking for another way to get caffeine in your system, you could always try another of Bart’s ideas.
