Ah Bacon Day, something that kind of exists (according to Wikipedia) but, in a more accurate way, doesn’t. Valentines Day, on the other hand, does exist and it’s fast approaching! As we’ve seen previously with her Creative Homemaking Breakfast, Marge likes to express her feelings in breakfast form. Perhaps you can also show your love for another through copious amounts of bacon?
Ingredients
- 6-8 Slices of Bacon
- 2 Eggs

Fry bacon and eggs and arrange on a plate to spell out “I Love You”.
As I’ve noted with previous recipes, fitting words spelled out with food onto a plate is not easy. In the case of the Bacon Day Breakfast I was forced to use two plates since there was no way this would fit onto one. It’s not like I have small plates either, cartoons can just size things relative to what is needed. It’s not like they have to make sense, you know? Anyway, when “writing” this message out I noticed that Marge used an uppercase I and L for “I” and “Love” respectively but for reasons unknown used a lowercase y for the “you”. What Marge lacks in correct title case she makes up for in taste. This dish has it all, bacon, eggs, a lack of vegetables – what else do you need?
