The original Skobo’s Smiley Face Breakfast Special menu version is very similar to the Creative Homemaking Breakfast, but it doesn’t include toast ears. As noted in that recipe, the bacon content is far too low to make it an attractive breakfast option. However, Homer’s version of adding bacon hair and body parts goes much too far in the other direction, plus I really don’t think bacon bits belong on any breakfast menu. They belong on baked potatoes and that’s about it.
Ingredients
- Bacon
- Bacon Bits
- Eggs
Directions
Cook bacon to desired crispiness and set aside. Cook eggs sunny side up. Place on plate and assemble your bacon man.
As you can see, the bacon man does not live in a bacon house. This is due to the simple fact that I ran out of bacon. Plus, I didn’t even have a pig to shove down my throat as backup! I really liked how the bacon man turned out though, I think he kind of looks like a lobster man with the bacon hands. It was actually a lot of fun to create him, although I was sad about the lack of house. But, on the other hand I don’t really need to eat two entire packages of bacon in a single sitting.
This breakfast was delicious, even the bacon bits were kind of tasty and not at all an over top addition to an already bacon heavy meal – ugh, where’s my sarcasm detector when I need it? I encourage everyone to try making a bacon man. It’s like a fun art project that can kill you with heart disease!

Skobo’s Smiley Face Breakfast Special Recipe From: We’re On the Road to D’ohwhere (The Simpsons Season 17 – Episode 4)
I remember seeing this episode as a kid and had this scene in my head for a while. It’s a great throwback! Although I always wondered how anyone could want to order the dish that had such a disproportionate amount of bacon to the eggs lol.
I think what you really mean is why doesn’t the dish include MORE bacon, right? Right?
